
Angela Cossiri is an Associate Professor of Constitutional Law in the Department of Law at the University of Macerata, where she teaches “Constitutional Law M-Z,” “Protection of Fundamental Rights,” and “Social and Citizenship Rights.” She is a member of the Faculty Board for the PhD program “Law and Innovation” at the University of Macerata.
She has participated as a research team member in nationally and internationally significant research projects and won competitive grants at the national and European levels. In particular, she was responsible for the projects CLIMOVE – Gender Climate Migration: Innovative European Union Socio-Legal Avenues, Horizon2020 – MSCA-IF, funded by the European Commission (2020 call); the Sustainable Innovation Lab, a project for the co-creation and regeneration of sustainable solutions with high social, cultural, and institutional innovation content, funded by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research; and Principal Investigator of the research project COSTE on maritime state-owned properties at the Center for Constitutional Studies of the University of Macerata.
Her main research areas include the relationships between domestic, supranational, and international legal orders, the crisis of democratic systems and political and the protection of fundamental rights.
