Giacomo Menegus

Giacomo Menegus is a Research Fellow in Constitutional Law at the University of Macerata (with the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor).

He performed research on “Fundamental rights, scientific and technological innovation” (2019), “Public aspects of home-sharing” (2020-2021), “The regulation of the sharing economy in the constitutional perspective. Legislator, judges, and platforms” (2021-2022).

He holds a PhD in “European Union Law and national legal systems” from the University of Ferrara (tutor Prof. R. Bin). He was visiting researcher at Heidelberg University and Max Planck Institute for Crime, Security and Law (Freiburg).

His interests focus on constitutional adjudication, territorial autonomies, European integration and regulation of economic activities (tourism).
